"North & South bring together Pat Shortall and myself to share our love of Irish music and more. With over 30 years of combined playing between us we have a unique insight in to the music of the working men and women of ireland as Pat calls it "Black pudding music, a mix of everything". We love to sing and play the music we grew up with and most importantly have "a bit of craic".  Irish music is not about being on a stage and playing a few tunes for an audience, it's collective and collaborative, the performer and audience are one, sharing the music with each other. So we hope to see you out soon and having you join in, singing, clapping and maybe even a step or two wouldn't go amiss."

Violin, banjo, accordion, and an array of sonic effects combine with diverse musical influences for a unique sound that straddles the gap between indie-rock and Irish music.
